A mega-gas station does not make sense May 4, 2026

The county is reviewing the local impacts on water quality and habitat. Air quality impacts from so many cars and gas pumps is handled by the state which may not require a permit. Interesting, because the Lancet Commission on Pollution and Health in 2022, reported that 9 million people die each year from breathing particulates that come from combustion. Idling cars in intersections and parking lots contribute to this.
